Multiple Teeth Implants
in Bangalore
When two or more teeth are missing, dental implants offer the most stable, bone-preserving, and natural-feeling solution — whether through individual implants, an implant-supported bridge, or implant-retained partial dentures.
Treatment Options for
Multiple Missing Teeth
The best solution depends on the number, position, and spacing of your missing teeth, as well as your bone condition. Dr. Pragya will assess all factors and recommend the most appropriate approach.
Implant-Supported Bridge
Two or more implants are placed at strategic positions, and a custom bridge spanning the gap is secured on top. No adjacent healthy teeth are involved. The result is a permanently fixed, natural-looking restoration that preserves bone beneath the missing teeth.
Ideal for: Adjacent missing teeth with good bone volume at implant sites
Individual Implants
When missing teeth are spread across the arch, individual implants are placed at each site. Each implant independently replaces its tooth root — the optimal solution for preserving bone and function at every missing tooth location.
Ideal for: Non-adjacent missing teeth; patients who want the most natural result
Implant-Retained Partial Denture
When many teeth are missing across the arch but full-arch replacement is not required, implants can be used to anchor a partial denture — providing far greater stability and comfort than a conventional removable partial denture.
Ideal for: Multiple missing teeth across the arch; patients seeking improved denture stability
Implant Bridge vs.
Traditional Bridge
A traditional dental bridge has been the standard solution for multiple missing teeth for decades. It works by grinding down the healthy teeth on either side of the gap and using them as anchors for a fixed bridge. While effective, this approach permanently damages healthy tooth structure and does nothing to prevent bone loss beneath the missing teeth.
An implant-supported bridge, by contrast, is anchored entirely to implants placed in the jawbone. No healthy teeth are touched. Bone is preserved. And the restoration is more stable, more natural-feeling, and longer-lasting.
