Dr. Ruthali Kamat holds an MDS in Periodontology from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai — a three-year specialist postgraduate degree in the diagnosis and surgical management of the gums and the bone that supports the teeth. She went on to teach there as an Assistant Professor of Periodontics before moving into full-time clinical practice.
She has since trained with the World Clinical Laser Institute in the United States, completed clinical externships at graduate periodontics programs in the USA, and studied advanced soft-tissue and grafting techniques with clinicians who helped develop them.
